Sounds good, will need to try them. I am a fan of Belgium beers, but they can be deceptively strong.
I was in Ghent on business a few years back and I visited a well-known bar with a local engineer. The bars claim to fame was that it had the biggest selection of beers in the country. I decide to go for the half-yard glass of 14% dark ale brewed by Belgium monks, the glass came supported in a wooden frame. Before the beer was handed over the barman asked me to deposit one of my shoes in a basket, which was then hoisted up to the ceiling and padlocked, the reason being was that they had, had quite a few of these glasses and frames stolen.
The ale went down very nicely and I did not feel the effect until I was looking down in the restroom seeing I was minus a shoe, which was a bit confusing.

Atheists have no need of a god. Our lives are not based on fear or guilt. We are moral because we know it's right.

Scrub the Belgian Beer Cafe. They've had to close. I think Erik and his wife found it difficult to meet the overheads through the low season. Great pity.
Re: Belgian beers
The beer in the wooden frame is called Kwak and you could buy it at Lost Café and at the Beira.
Had many a good session with this, and is always good for a laugh when watching the first timers when the airlock bursts in the bubble and they end up wearing it.

I'm working in Belgium right now. I had a beer here in 2004 and could never get it out of my mind since. Blaanch Hacht. I'm still looking for it.
