Happy Pancake day to everyone.

A little background info for those not familiar with this day.
Pancakes are associated with the day preceding Lent because they were a way to use up rich foods such as eggs, milk, and sugar, before the fasting season of the 40 days of Lent. The liturgical fasting emphasized eating plainer food and refraining from food that would give pleasure:
In many cultures, this means no meat, dairy, or eggs.

So in honour of this day, why not come and try Chef Ians savory and sweet Interpretation of Pancake day

Come along and enjoy delights such as

Spinach, riccotta cheese and sundried tomato pancake, roquette salad.

Salmon, prawn and asparagus pancake, smoked salmon and chive sauce.

Cajun spiced chicken, peppers and red onion pancake, sour cream.
all served with black pepper potato wedges

Followed by
Crepe suzzette with vanilla ice cream with oranges.

Oh and dont forget it's Valentines day this Thursday..

Looking forward to seeing you at the Palm Bistro.

I can only manage the smallest possible pancake  , but I like it with a little sugar, and loads of lemon juice - nothing fancy for me.

Mind you, yours sound delicious. I wish my stomach had the capacity to eat one

Got some special friends coming from BK this weekend. What is your Sunday roast and do you do any Thai food on a Sunday?

Thank you in anticipation
