Visited a new place last night for its opening. The name is TAPAS. Its on the way to Khao Takeib opposite Baan Talay Dao. Very tastefully decorrated, and not to far from town. The owner had some musicians from Bangkok playing semi acoustic guitar, these guys were not the usual stuff, playing contemporary jazz and some real nice blues. These were very skillful players who may become regulars at this venue.
They are going to serve a variety of food, with a tapas menu, obviously.
The owner is a very good host, and a trip there would be worthwhile. Not sure when the full menu is available but i will update when i know.
