Tried a new place for me yesterday, Kwality Indian, just behind the 7-11 on soi 94, not sure if its been mentioned here before. Was very impressed with the grub and the price. We had onion bhaji, mutton rogan josh and a dhal makhani, haji's made fresh and big portion, lovely tender meat in the rogan josh and a very creamy texture from the dhal. All in all, a lovely meal, we'll be back!

Your memory must be fading binlid, you posted a month ago on page 16 and your post was immediately after a series of exchanges about the Kwality restaurant, most of them complimentary like you about the quality and price of the food - good to hear that the standard hasn't dropped.

404cameljockey wrote: Mon Jul 10, 2017 12:30 pmI agree it doesn't matter, and this is also is maybe getting too close to the confused idea of cultural appropriation. Two American women selling street tacos in the US have had people trying to take legal action against them because they're not Mexican!
There's no confusion. Many similar definitions of cultural appropriation, but I like this one: "The idiotic conflation of culture with racism. Essentially the absurd belief that the cultural exchange that has served to enrich humanity throughout all of human history is wrong because racists exist. "

404cameljockey, not sure if they deliver. It's a small operation from what I could see, 1 waiting staff and a husband and wife team in he kitchen. Was very tasty so likely back some time in the next week, as long as my memory holds together, I'll ask and get back to you.

Asked the owner last time and no, they don't deliver. The owner hates to say "no", but he doesn't have the capacity. Either dine-in or pick-up.

Cheers,
B

My son tried to visit Kwakity last Sunday with his girlfriend and a friend - it was packed. They couldn't get a table. It may be worth booking in advance.

As it turned out, they went to Shiva instead, and haven't stopped talking about the fantastic chicken dish they had. Unfortunately, none of them remember what it was called.
