Thank you very much Mango for what turned out to be a fantastic evening. The many dishes were superb.

I can't compare the Indian food to any that I've had in either the UK or Thailand. It was different. It didn't resemble any Indian meal I've ever had, but it was really good. I would go as far to say that I enjoyed this version of Indian food to the UK stuff, which I love. With one exception (you can't please all of the people all of the time) tonight's offerings were really tasty for me. One out of 14(ish) separate dishes that didn't meet my personal standards is good.

I ate more food tonight than I have since my stomach operation 2.5 years ago. Timing between courses gave my small stomach enough time to digest enough food to allow me to fit just a little bit more in. Not a good way to treat a miniature stomach, but once in a while - what the hell, it tasted good.

Good job Mango

My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Hi BB,

Thanks a lot for coming with your family last night and I'm so happy you enjoyed it.
We certainly enjoyed your company.

Regarding your comments about it being so different, Akram the chef says the difference is that last night's food was predominantly Northern Indian and Pakistani, i.e. what he is familiar with from around Islamabad and Kashmir, whereas the creamy thicker type curry with your favourite ingredient, coconut milk  , is mainly from more southern India.

It looks like Akram will be staying for a while, so we'll start working on a follow-up menu.

Me again  . The other 3 have come out in sympathy with me - please cancel all Sherry Trifle with fresh Thai Fruit (such a shame - sounds delicious). So just 4 starters and main courses please.
