food and hygiene sampling at lower food court market village

Headed downstairs to the lower food court at market village yesterday for a late lunch. Went looking for a table down towards the eastern end and noticed several tables occupied by a latex gloved group sorting and labeling a large quantity of vials and boxing them up. Asked one of the vendors what it was about and was told that they had taken hand swabs from vendors as well as samples of food.
No idea as to whether it was a mangement initiative or what the reason was behind it.

this isa standard quality control/hygeine process in hospitals. Good to hear that they are doing it in MV
