I will pay them a visit when I get the chance.
At the moment she's working from her restaurant in MV until she gets her home set up with the proper equipment. I talked to her today. You need to visit her fb business page it has more info than her normal page!

A pork pie is a traditional British cold meat pie. It consists of roughly chopped pork and pork jelly sealed in a hot water crust pastry.

Unless you're living in the North East of England (and probably other areas), when it is served hot with mushy peas.

I've started eating these since we moved here (bought at HH H&B) and really like them. Cold, with mustard, or heated with gravy, I like both. One method may be blasphemy, but they taste good!

LOL - with gravy does sound like blasphemy, but some probably think mushy peas are blasphemy also. If you go to HHH&B again, pick up a tin of mushies as well and give it a go - you might be pleasantly surprised/converted :D :run:

I will! I heard so much about it, need to try. I do love peas. Are they just that, mushed peas? Or is there spices added?

You can get various varieties - the ones with mint sauce are good, but it all depends upon what is in stock.

I drove down 88/1 this morning very slowly thinking I might invest in one of these 100 Baht pies (they'd have to be very special to make me want to pay that much a second time), just out of curiosity. I found a balloon shop, a restaurant, somewhere that does special maths, a home delivery service, a police officer's house, etc., etc. However, I didn't find a Pork Pie shop.

The mystery thickens.

I didn't realise that was Soi 88/1 otherwise I would have said I've never seen it and I go that way regularly to MV.

She's working from her restaurant in MV at the moment until she gets her house sorted to sell from. I don't think you would have got one anyway, on her business page she's asked people to place orders because of the increase in demand!
