Foreigners arrested for alleged drug offences in Hua Hin

Hi every one,
Could someone shed light on the arrest of John cooper yesterday in Hua Hin?
I was sent a picture, but I don't understand what it says.

Police Hua together to arrest drug gangs, including five with Mr. John Thomas Cooper, an American aged 45, Mr Jonathan Syd Courtenay, British, aged 43 years, Mr. Manit or Compass age of 47. climb. Africa. Pornpen or Phen Fen Tong Sing, aged 31. Ms.. Siriporn Yimlamai 29-plus years of the drug heroin and cocaine worth more than six hundred thousand baht amount of cash. Mobile phone Weights and Measures 1 and John visa tourists came to Thailand several years ago by open beer bars in Soi 80 fronting Along with the drugs sold to foreign customers and Thailand together. By smuggling drugs from the country's northern neighbor. Wrapped in foil stuffed anal hole 10 at a time through the pack and was arrested numerous times (08/17/58).

The translation is a bit wobbly but it gives the gist ok. Basically the 3 pictured along with 2 Thai girls were caught with a combination of heroin, cocaine and ice(crystal meth) worth 600,000bt. They'd been smuggling it from neighbouring countries several times and dealing from a bar on Soi 80 acting as a front. I was curious which bar but I've not been able to find out. It was apparently the American's on the right of the pic.

I think I used to play snooker with the Thai guy in the middle a lot! 1000 baht a game. Isn't that Cat's (owner of Cat bar) ex-boyfriend?

I think your right about Cat's ex as my wife just told me today on skype but she is not 100 % sure so,anyway if they are guilty put them away.I never understand how people would take such a risk in a country were you can get a very hard punichment ,but there is some idio.s out there and I won't drop a tear.

Yep you are right, why deal drugs in a country where the punishment can be so heavy, and possibly even death. Having said that, I've never understood how a drugs offence can land you on death row, while cold blooded murder gets you +/- 10 years.

2. Selling drugs the perp hurts many people.
3. Selling drugs does greater harm to society than killing one member of it.
4. There might be mitigatory circumstances when killing someone, selling drugs more rarely has them.

What about family and friends ?

Any abuse of drugs or drinking is peoples own choice when they take the first drink or drug,being killed cold blooded is not even if your a assho.e and deserve it

1. When you kill someone you don't only hurt one person. You take one person's life, and you hurt everyone that knew that person
2. Selling drugs hurts many people, I agree, but I also think that only a small percentage of users go on to be full blown addicts. I know plenty of people who have taken drugs in one form or another when they were younger and today they are no different from anyone else.

4. There is no justification for murdering someone.

Anyway, as a father of three young girls, all I know is that I would rather someone sells them drugs instead of raping and killing them.

One good thing that comes out of this. CAT loses one of their best dart players which gives us a better chance when we play them next. lol
