Rocket launching season appears to be underway and this will be the first of many videos you’ll see in the months ahead of near misses, accidents and fatalities.

The clip below circulating today shows Team Somchai launch their homemade projectile and within 20 seconds as flies through the sky a plane comes into view.

Now, just how close it came to hitting the plane I don’t know but having seen a ton of these DIY rocket videos, some of them pack a fair bit of power… so who knows how close it really came to the plane? You tell me.
