Kicking people on the ground is the act of a "dog". Whether he was hapless as described is interesting and hhtel has a good point too!

A Duterte solution should be used for bike gangs. I wonder if Thai immigation will prevent visa renewal.

Perhaps "pick-up gangs" is what you meant?

Not sure just which guys you are referring to, but having seen how the bikers operate in Oz, do not be surprised if the Thais are found floating in a Klong a couple of days after the bikers have left the country.
