Just seen this on the BBC

A British man has been shot dead in his Porsche in Thailand.
Tony Kenway, originally from Southampton, was killed in a car park in the resort of Pattaya at 14:10 local time, according to the Bangkok Post.
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) has confirmed it is in contact with local police regarding the death of a British national.
Sanit Sport Club, where the shooting happened, offered its condolences in a message posted on its Facebook page.
It read: "We are very sad to announce the death of Tony Kenway who lost his life this morning. We would like to offer Tony's family and friends our deepest sympathy and condolences at this difficult time. RIP Tony."

CCTV footage was on 'another forum'. Basically the guy got in his car, another guy walked over, opened the car door and shot the guy in the head before running off. All in broad daylight.

Business dispute settled in classic Thai fashion.

Don't have to do/say too much that someone doesn't like to get killed these days. There is also a story just broken today about a hairdresser getting killed because he cut a 17 year-old's hairdo in the wrong way/style and the kid got bitched about it and beat him to death.

So many are on a hair trigger now.

AD's news website states that he was a web designer working for the Boiler Room guys in BKK.
That should provide a telephone directory of possible suspects that have been ripped off by those guys

Have a read of this website set up by victims of Boiler room boys and you will get an idea of what goes on.

It is quite long and detailed.

No Suspects Yet in Murder of British Businessman
Police said Wednesday they have yet to determine a motive or perpetrator behind the slaying of a British expat near the resort town of Pattaya.

Tony Kenway, 39, was shot dead at point blank range in broad daylight as he sat in his car in the Bang Lamung district on Tuesday. Police described Kenway as a British national who lived in the Jomtien neighborhood and made a living in Thailand as a website designer.

“We have no information [about the motive] so far,” Jirawut Tanthasri, chief of Nong Prue police, told reporters. “We are collecting information. We are questioning his wife and his team.”

Security footage shows Kenway getting into the driver’s seat of his Porsche in front of a sports club on Tuesday at which point an unidentified man approaches and shoots him in the head. The masked gunman then flees on a motorcycle with an accomplice.

According to Kenway’s Facebook account, he and his wife, Somporn Kenway, recently had a child.

Somporn told reporters Tuesday that he had no history of conflict with anyone, thought she mentioned he had a “business dispute” with a former company partner.

No suspects have been identified so far.

Boiler rooms are basically high pressure sales rooms with expats running an operation selling quick win financial packages to the retired (have substantial sums of available cash to invest)

Google: Hong Kong Paul, Paul Hutchins, aka 101 names, of which none are apparently real. These guys have allegedly made a fortune fleecing the gullible and now have the lease to Nana Plaza BKK and many BKK condos. Of course only if you believe the alledged claims. Some actually allegedly live in HH mansions. Really such speculation and rumours you should ignore

Agree to not trust rumors, but stay away from these boiler room schemes. You will only loose your money. You're better off investing your money through known firms/banks. At least you can get some kind of security there. Anyways, if you want to know more you can also google boiler rooms Thailand Bangkok Andrew Drummond etc. The last name is a British journalist who has exposed many of these boiler room guys.
