Great to see along with posters of the new king appearing all over the place. A new era is beginning for Thailand and it should be welcome.

Shame they couldn't start the new king's reign by updating banknotes to polymer.

Are the banks doing any presentation display type sets as a collectors item. Anyone heard or seen anything about this?

New bank notes and start of a new era. I hope in a good way, though. Unless I've been asleep I've yet to see the new king place his first marker on his reign by announcing any philanthropic campaigns to follow in the footsteps of his father. He should get the motor running, he has big shoes to fill and a government which doesn't always seem to hear the ordinary man.
The power of the monarchy may be severely limited but there are many things it can do with its popularity to better the lives of its subjects. This should not be read as a criticism of the monarchy, only a hope that the good works will continue.
Sorry, off topic as usual.
