Bird flu, now in humans?

Post by ATAdmin »

Just in case you haven't heard in local media, bird flu is, apparently, still a very real threat in Thailand and the region.

All the best to everybody - see you soon!

Thailand declares war on bird flu

Thailand has declared bird flu its "enemy" and set a one-month deadline for authorities to wipe out the epidemic after the world's first probable human-to-human infection killed at least one Thai. The deadline, however, is likely yet another wake-up call rather than a final solution.

Interesting way of saying it Lev
rather than a final solution

I fear that if you are a chicken in the North the "final solution" may be just around the corner!

Does this mean that there will not be any chicken or duck on the menu anywhere?

I was in Chiang Mai in Feb and missed out on some of my favourite food because there just wasn't anything feathered to be found.
