Hello There,
My friends will be staying at Cha Am in August who are keen golfers and are keen to find out the following:
Is it possible to be 'signed in' on any of the golf courses (by a member)
thus reducing the cost of game of golf ?
Can clubs and footwear be hired , and if so what would be the average cost & will this be available at most courses ?
Can you please give directions to the 9 hole courses in the area and can clubs be hired at these clubs.
Is there a pitch and putt course in Cha Am or close-by?
Thanks for your help on this

Golf in Cha-am
Hi Peter
August is the month for the Hua Hin Cha-am Golf festival. So I think your friends may be in luck.
Last year we had friends staying who made the most of the cheaper green fees and they had a super time.
I seem to recall something like 1000 bht per round, which was reasonable compared to the normal prices,
They were able to hire clubs, not sure about footware.
I just found this info trawling the net, I copied & pasted it as I am not sure yet how to set up a link
Golf Festival 2009
The festival for golf lovers at the heavenly seaside resorts of Hua Hin / Cha-am, Thailand
8 different courses ... 8 different challenges
fixed green fees at 8 championship courses* daily throughout August-September 2009
