Not really necessary to arrange for a tour. You can just along and then stroll about at your own pace. They don't have many different types of animals though. It's mostly birds, monkeys and deer. There were also two bears when I was last there. Quite a relaxing place to visit, and all the animals are listed in English and Thai.

That's why I was interested in finding somebody knowledgeable about the facilities including all the flora and fauna. I am really interested in all aspects of nature and therefore want a bit more that just the English names of the different species.

If all else fails, you might be better to go there and ask to see the manager and explain your interest.

You say 'was in charge'..is he still around?
I heard about his lawsuit and wondered if he had had some other problems and had maybe left for good.
I tried emailing him last week, but did not get a reply......
