I think what the guy says about "no warning...no forecast..." is correct. This was the remains of Tropical Depression 30 that we talked about on the Weather thread on Nov. 5. It was to have winds of less than 63KPH by the time it hit the Hua Hin area. It appears to me that it picked up speed coming east to west over the open waters of the Gulf and hit with more power and higher wind speeds. I saw no reports that it would hit HH with such force. When it went through Rayong here it was all rain and lightning and very little wind. Pete :cheers:

JC thanks for your video very good footage. I have spent a few days at Cha Am with my Thai family and it will look a bit different this next March when I go there again. Chok Dee.!
