Cha-Am to Hua Hin Beach Walk

Post by PeteC »

I was thinking after seeing BB's photo journals, are there any volunteers to do a Cha-Am to the Palace beach walk- photo journal? Is it possible to get all the way without major obstructions, and what kind of time would we be talking about, 10-12 hours? Maybe a better idea would be to rent a beach pony? :D Pete

Many years ago my eldest daughter and her boyfriend did it but it was a combination of beach and road/footpath. Both were fitness freaks and took it in their stride.

I don't know the details though so will ask when next on SKYPE to her

Sounds like a great idea.

I think it would be less than 12 hours, maybe 5-6??.

I will be HH on the 4/4.

Do we need to discuss this over a beer first?

You need someone local Croc to team up with. I'm not local, but would try it in a heartbeat. Maybe someone will step forward as the thread mellows. Good to see some adventurous souls still about. :thumb: Pete

It would be difficult to plan as since November last year large parts of the beach from the airport to past the Dusit are not passable due to the sand being washed away. In effect no beach just sea and walls. It can be like that for days.

I wonder if that was caused by the way the Airport authority constructed/placed their jetties?
