Crawfords Cha Am

Post by Jockey »

Went to this bar last weekend for the first time and I must say it is a great wee oasis. The band are fantastic and John the host adds to the authenticity of Irishness! Food is great but word of warning - don't order the big breakfast unless you've a couple of hours to spare to eat it or have a friendly dog to feed - it is MEGA!!!! I'll certainly be returning. :D

I have to agree - I have been there a couple of times, most recently for a Sunday roast (Lamb) with all the trimmings, and it was excellent. John and his wife are great hosts too.

I had the big breakfast anbd it went down a treat. My only complaint was that they could not provide a low fat spread for my toast of low fat milk as all of you that know mw will know I am very concious of maintaining my slim figure.

Where exactly is Crawfords in Cha Am? I went looking for it when I was back in July but I couldn’t find it. I followed a couple of “Crawfordsâ€

Sara,

Why are you & kellyt both pushing this link? I would've thought one mention in a day would be enough!!

As Lev suggested in the other thread, maybe Crawford's Cha am's advertising needs could be better served on HHAD by checking out the media kit. :)

Just FYI, the link is crappola also, at least on dial up. Never opens or, bones in my chair by the time it does. That always seems to be a problem with web sites that are not directly owned but apparently "piggy backed" onto a web site service....IMHO...being non technical...and just wanting to see the link...which I still can't dooooooo...I'm going to go inspect some bar toilets.... Pete

Pete,

The link opens fine in the UK. I've read the site - wish I'd been inspecting toilets as well! :?

In fairness, it does open with a warning that it's still under construction - I guess they're still laying the foundations.

All I get over here with my iSP is two blank little windows on my toolbar ISP icon and then...nothing. And I'm only across the gulf...LOL. Maybe someone in Pattaya doesn't like Cha Am bars... I'll keep trying. Pete

Hi Big Boy,
What is still under construction, the website, or the bar? Maybe that’s why I couldn’t find it, I know Jockey has said that he had a good night there, but if it was only half-complete, he might have thought it was a Glaswegian bar and not an Irish one!

Remaining off topic - can you imagine the feeling as it squelched through your toes?
:lach:
Maybe you could try stilts or a pogo stick.
