Cha-am Accomodation

Post by mildmike »

Looking for a house or similar for a holiday for a family of 3 adults and 2 toddlers at least.

May also have 1 geriatric and 2 teenagers to accomodate as well.

Will be coming for about 5 days in July.

Is this kind of accomodation available?

Cheers

Hi Mike,
Welcome to HHAD, doubt very much anyone will rent you a house for only 5 days.

There is a list of Cha-am accommodation options here but they're mostly hotels:

I know a fantastic place in Cha-am that would suffice all your needs.
It's about fifty yards from the beach and set in a great location.
Please PM me and I will give you details.

[ Edited: no property links please, PM for details ]

Its about 5-10 minutes North of Cha-am but they run a free shuttlebus into town.

If your looking for a self contained 3 bed room house/ bungalow to rent by the night , then 3000bht isn't too bad but i agree looks a little steep .
But you are accommodating the whole family under one roof.
And rooms in hotels will cost from 300 to 1800 baht a night , not counting the chain hotels at 6000bht a night .
You can rent a house with pool for 15000/ 25000 baht a month i think but the poster said he wanted 5 days . And that means renting by the day / night . And that puts the price up because its a walk in of the street pay by the night business ,but this is Thailand its always negotiable. I hope i have redemed my self in front of you wonderfull forum people.
