Jings Guesthouse
Just a quick note to thank those of you who recommended Jings Guesthouse.
I have just returned to Australia after spending 5nights at Peter & Jings Guesthouse, I too would recommend it to anyone looking for well located accommodation, the rooms are very clean and serviced daily not to mention the really good price
WiFi was excellent, signal strength 4 out of 5 on my laptop, not once did it drop out.
Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff, from allowing my girlfriend (a Hua Hin local) to check in prior to my arrival.... to organising a car for rent, then a motor bike...Peter personally took me me to the best place to rent a bike from.
Another tip is to get at least one massage while staying at Jings, its not your traditional half assed Thai massage you normally receive on the street, the girls actually make use of your pressure points, and belive me you will notice a significant difference the following day. I did hear from my GF the best masseuse in HH works there
(oops forgot her name, though she completely fixed my long suffering shoulder)
On a final note I was also in HH 8 weeks prior to this trip and I stayed at the best 5* hotel and to be honest I felt more at home and also met more people at Jings, the place has a great ambience where if you don't feel like going out u can have a drink at their bar and chat to some fellow travellers..
Once again thanks Peter..... & Jing with your infectious laugh
See you all again in March '09

Second that
I have to agree with all that was said above. Peter is one of the most helpful people I have met. He got a great price for the Taxi to collect me, and help when we could not find each other at the new airport.
Rooms are some of the most comfortable you will stay in, for the price. The breakfasts are filling and good value.
I too can say that massage some thing to take advantage of, even the foot massage after a long flight (or a walk to Tesco) makes you feel 10 times better.
Long may they keep up the good work

I didnt have a look at the big rooms, I stayed in the new suite for my stay, has handy door to the rear courtyard as i am a smoker...
As for guestfriendly my GF being a Hua Hin local was able to check in a couple of hours before my arrival as mentioned, so yes its very very guestfriendly.
I will be staying there again without a doubt...no need to look anywhere else in my honest opinion.

The room i was in had a fridge and i would say yes the extra money is worth staying in one of the new rooms .mrco wrote:Does anybody know if the "Large rooms" have a fridge? Is it worth the extra money to stay in the "New Suites"?

Very nice showers and a bed was nice and a easy sleep was had. They also have mess on the window to stop the flying things from getting in, so you would not get bit so much,
If you stay you will enjoy as the location, staff and room are just right
