Guest friendly Hotels - Needs to be asked - again!

I have booke in two weeks in Chalelarn Hotel Hua Hin, anyone have any idea if this is guest friendly? or can I expect to also receive 'lady visitor' bill?

Yes it is - no hassle. Guests don't even have to show an ID.

Next time I'd like to stay on the waterfront. I was thinking Hilton. How to they deal with native female overnight guests?

I agree City Beach is in a great location and does need a make over , i'd say its a 3 star and its not guest friendly .I have stayed there on our golf trip for the last 4 years and on each occasion when we pay our room bill for the odd beer from the fridge , you get handed the bill and then he turns it over to show you another bill ? ( your guest friendly bill ) . Not to sure how they do this as one of my mates had a big bill with no guests, he questioned it and didn't have to pay ?and others had guestS and had a lesser bill ??? i think it works out to be 300baht a night ,which could add up lol , add that to your fines for being sick on the golf course ,falling out of the buggy and getting closest to the pin and then 4 putting .....and i'll be back to do it all again in September ..

The Hilton will not allow lady guests at night. Unless something has changed over the past few years. Someone else may be able to confirm this.

Just got word from the Baan Laksasubha Resort Hua Hin and their joiner policy:

"Regarding to joiner, there will be an additional charge 1,500 Baht per person per night not include breakfast."

Pretty stiff considering the price of the place.

I'm not confirmed about that hotel is guest friendly or not. Overall this is a great hotel and the staff of this hotel are really good and friendly. I shall be confirmed about it from my friend, who live in Hua Hin.

One sound advice on another forum which many used was to book the room for double occupancy and state upon arrival that "my friend will come later" Never mind that it was a different "friend" every night. You always get a double room in Thailand, I personally always ask for a king size bed, so to book it for 2 instead of one is just a formality and you may avoid exess joiner fees. These days obviously I book it for me, wife and our little son. I king size works for 2 addults and a kid

make sure you book the room for two guests which is the defult number. this should not affect the cost of the room. the only time I have been charged is when I bring back two or more girls at the same time.

Nicha Hotel: Girls no problem

I used some of the 5 star places as well and none of them had a problem with my female guest(s).

Putahracsa: No questions asked, girls no problem.
Hyatt: Girls no problem.
InterCon: No questions asked. 3 girls no problem. They have rooms where you do not need to enter through lobby. Including jacuzzi on balcony. Perfect for special occasion.
