Hotel with beautifull pool

Post by anna_cedric »

Hi,

We are new on this forum and great Thailand fans !!!

We are looking for insider tips concerning an accomodation in HH. Can anyone help, please ???

This is what we are looking for :
* A few nights in the center of HH at the beginning of July 2011.
* We are looking for a nice clean hotel with a  GREAT & BIG SWIMMINGPOOL (not pools on the roof because there isn't any shade) because we are travelling with 3 kids...
* We are ready to spend about THB 2'000.- / per room and night including breakfast & all taxes

We hope to find a beautifull place even if we can't afford the big hotels of the area...

I heard about the "Jed Pee Nong" and "Chom View Hotel" what do you think about them ?

Other ideas ?

We'd be very thankfull for your help !!!

See ya

You can have a look through all of Hua Hin's hotels and book online at discount rates here: http://www.huahinafterdark.com/hua-hin- ... okings.php

Have a look at Seajays which is on here somewhere. Well within your budget and plenty for the kids to do.

Hello there, for your price range i think the markwin lodge on soi 88 is good. Its about 1100 baht a night, big pool gym, food acrross the soi. 1oo baht to get to town. Thats if you don't like whats been listed above. I also like the charleron in the centre of town, pool on roof but beautiful, and i think better quility than the hilton, at 2000 baht a night. Walking distance to everything, night market, shops etc, and its pretty new. Hope that helps cheers

Welcome :)
If it were me staying with 3 kids I would choose without a doubt Anantasila by the Sea, Hua Hin. It is a little way out of HH but in my mind that is not a bad thing. The TUKTUKs are cheap also taxis. About a mile down to the next village there is a great night market with food at cheap prices, this is on 3 times week. I think the room rates are approx £40 a night. The garden is a dream with amazing orchids & palms going down to the beach. The hotel has its own beach. There are lunch time BBQ on Sat very reasonable. Once a week they have a Thai set dinner at approx 300 baht per person, children half price. The menu is farang and Thai. The restuarant has wonderful seating on the beach, cushions suitable for large families. See pics on link. If you shop around online you may get a good deal. Try Tripavisor. Have a look at hotel photos and reviews

I like the pool at Hin Nam Sai Suay although the reviews on trip advisor are pretty bad

After a few years trying all the hotels in that budget you mentionned, I found the Grand Hotel and Plaza to be a real gem with one of the largest pool fully in the afternoon sun and a very nice Thai night market next to it. Beach is at 10 minutes by feet as is Hua Hin center.
