Looking for Longstay alternative 5-10 months.

Post by SweRob »

Hey all.

Im moving from Bangkok to Hua Hin around September 1st this year and im looking for a longstay alternative. Gonna stay 5 months for sure but im sure im gonna extend my stay with another 5 months after that.

Townhouses or Condos are of interest. My only demands are Western style toilet and the option to order/install an ADSL internet connection thru the telephone line.

Im gonna stay with my Thai girlfriend so the accommodation dont need to be large, currently we live on 38sqm.

We are looking to get something in the 10 000 bath/month price range inc electricity/water (we are not heavy Aircon users).

Any offers or Tips/Hints on where to stay in this price range are apriciated!

Depending on when you are coming try Condo Chain. They are normally booked solid Nov to April but do go for long term deals if you ask to talk to the boss

Ive heard about Condo Chain before, if i can get the lady to let go of her idea to get a Dog then i most certainly would go for that option.

Are there any similar Condo complexes that also is worth to check out?

My mate has just built a new block of units behind the hospital and he is not going to be advertising them as it's more aimed at the Thai market but I know they are going to be good quality. I think they are cheaper than 10,000 and may be of interest to you. His market is for the medical staff at the hospital but they are brand new and I think there are 12 of them.

At this point everything is of interest. As i said before im looking for something for 10 000 bath/month with Electricity/Water/Internet included.

Currently have a monthly cost of 8000 with everything included in BKK. Dont use Aircon tough, only a couple of days a month when having killer hangovers.

Do you know if these new units will be furnished or not? Shoot me contact details thru PM if you wish.

Thanks.

May we please remind people that solicitation of properties for rent or sale via this forum (or the PM system) is forbidden.

Those that are not willing to be professional and spend a couple of baht for a listing to market their rental can look elsewhere for tenants.

I'd try Hin Nam Sai Suay, Hotel and apts. Soi 7
Studio run 7000 Baht range. One bedroom split level apts run 10K for the 6 month contract. Water elec. maybe 500 a month. Internet runs 7-800 month. Great pool, quiet, on Baht bus line.
