Sofitel Centara Grand Resort and Villas

Post by Veronica Mc »

We are coming Hua Hin Oct for 6 months or so, but are looking to stay in a hotel for the 1st week, heard lots of great comments about this hotel, unfortunatly we have just found out there will be works at the Hotel in Oct, so a little concerned, Has anyone heard of similar hotels of same standard in same area? Any help appreciated.

Cheers Veronica.

Try the Marriot, that might float your boat and be what you are accustomed to along with a further bewildering choice if needs be.

I think the forum does a booking service for all sorts of hotels and is a decent way to sort it out from all accounts, caters for the grand and normal needs I think......ah, here it is......

Yeah, it's central enough, and so are many other of the decent places in the link I gave you in the previous post.

This map (interactive too) might also help to give an idea of location for places you could consider...........

http://www.huahinafterdark.com/hua-hin-map.htm

It's got pretty much everywhere on the central areas, Marriot is bottom right on the map and Sofitel is center right, follow the site directions and you'll find something that fits the bill and easy to book, lots of other stuff about restaurants/bars/recreational activities etc and other stuff too.

LOVE the Sofitel. Great villas. Quite dated / traditional whichever way you want to look at it. Enjoyed it all the same.
