Cost and value of massage at Sofitel

Post by blueberry2012 »

I will stay at the Sofitel in a while. Is there anyone who have any experience of the SPA/Massage att the hotel. How much is it? Is it a good value for the money?

Why pay triple than necessary? You can get a massage right across the street at the Thai Orchid and they will even go to your room to do the massage if you want it there.

agree with TT, not value in the Spa,
you just pay for the exclusiveness and ambience. Hotel sets a price well heeled guests are naively willing to pay.
In the end its down to a massage table and a good pair of hands, elbows etc.

I'm not surprised to get that answer, but sometimes things are better that expected. Thanks for the reply. /blueberry

Correct, but ambiance should not totally be neglected. It has a value, too. The question is how much.

Now you can analyse the response to your questionnaire - at your leisure.

gee, not like you Spiffy. Sofitel, soapy? one look at the spa sez real pampering service. My late missus did like the ambience and the fuss. Blueberry, definitely its a good massage intro and feel special then go down market to compare. (my two bahts worth) :P

Take a look at their page: http://www.huahinmedia.com/huahin-massage.php

They also have another location opposite the Hilton.

Really didn't expect soapy massage to be available at Sofitel.
