Hi @ all,
I saw a decent rate of 3,000 baht including breakfast per night for the Hilton in Hua Hin and I am unsure whether to book or not. I hope someone can answer the following two questions:
- Does the Hilton charge any joiner fee if I bring a guest overnight with me? And what if this quest is changed in the second night?
- Until what time is breakfast available?
Thanks for any answers.

I do not know what their policies are on joiner fees, but the HHH is not the best choice if you plan to bring in company.
Its a big open lobby with many prying eyes and you will feel the disaproval even if there is no fine. HH has many good hotels in the same area at a litlle over half that price where you will not face these problems.

I wouldn't disagree with what midlandmike has suggested, however there was a recent thread on the same subject and there were a number of replies that suggested taking visitors back in the evening was not a problem with hotel management - looks from other guests may be another thing altogether.
Re: Hilton Hua Hin
Personally I wouldn't give a damn if other guests stared at me, but why even bother staying at a hotel that adds 2000 baht per day just because of the name?
You can get excellent accommodation elsewhere for a fraction of what HHH charge, and without being outside the center of town. In fact, for 3000 baht per night, you could get yourself a package deal....room and guest.

Don't try to impress me with your manner of dress cos a monkey himself is a monkey no less - cold fact

FYI here is a list of mid-range hotels in Hua Hin with online booking, all charging less than the Hilton: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=20705

I am sure HHH's customer service would be happy to respond to your questions. Calle them on the phone, or send them an email. Easy!Hallifax wrote:Hi @ all,

The Hilton looks beautiful and is right on the seafront, however my experience is that the chain hotels are very expensive for what you get. i am staying at the Citin Lof and it is about £27/night inclding breakfast and I think it is a great hotel. it is not luxury but clean and has everyhing we need, and the staff are excellent.

That's interesting, as it got slagged off on another thread on this forum. Reviews are mixed on the various sites.techietubby wrote:The Hilton looks beautiful and is right on the seafront, however my experience is that the chain hotels are very expensive for what you get. i am staying at the Citin Lof and it is about £27/night inclding breakfast and I think it is a great hotel. it is not luxury but clean and has everyhing we need, and the staff are excellent.
