I have used the following a couple of times. You can walk anywhere from there, clean new rooms, undercover parking. Can book it on here. (opposite the original air con bus station)
1000 or 1300 Baht / night.

Now all you need is a visitors visa for Hua Hin.
There is no restaurant in the hotel, but dozens of them in the Soi.

We're driving down from Korat tomorrow. Hoping for a visa on arrival. My wife is an attorney who has work in the area now and then. Perhaps this place would make a good base for those visits. We'll see.
