Coopers 94 Guest house - very good (now Capones)

Post by Jose » Wed Jul 19, 2017 11:57 am

Location soi 94, over the railway line, past 7/11 , keep going 4 mins walk

I stayed 3 nights in July and am booked again this week for 3 nights,

Communication is good , booked via facebook, hassle free experience.

Large room, freshly decorated, good quality build and furniture , Tv was a bit small but good quality and you can reach the hdmi ports so you can connect your own devices.

large fridge and a table and two chairs , so you can work on a laptop as well. plenty of plug/power ports dotted around the room.

Bathroom is big and well designed, hot shower with and a toilet and sink. free shower gel and shampoo given.

I paid 500 baht per night and was well impressed with the value for money and hassle free experience, I am guessing the price will be much higher for peak season.

I will return anytime i want to stay on soi 94 , they also have adsl ports in the rooms so useful for digital nomads.

yes it did, surely all new builds have them these days,

I stayed at Narawan on 94 the week before that does rooms for low season for 600 baht, but old and rusty due to thai stainless steel. if you need a pool, Narawan is probably a better bet on 94

I'd be asking the signwriter to return and rectify the spelling of DAYLY.

Just saying..........

Is this place still open? My cousin has been going there 4 days not to enquire about accommodation but it's been shut.

I heard from a friend of the family that there had been a death in the family but it should be open again tomorrow (Monday)

yes same place but they meant the bar was shut, I checked in and out without any issues, only speaking to anyone twice during the whole 3 days.

Soi 94 is the dogs bollocks now, lots of bars and food places, never staying near Binta again.

Unfortunately not, and lately the whole soi is getting worse with cars and bikes parked on both sides causing problems for traffic in the soi.

Just come past Coopers Guest House this morning 07/12/2017 and see that it's changed the name to "Capones".

Anybody out there know any reasons why?

Don't ask too many questions--Capones--could be owned by the Mob! Remember the vow of silence.
