Estate Agents in Hua Hin

Post by captsensible »

The state of the Estate Agents in Hua Hin is becoming a concern.

[ Edited by Admin ]

What is going on. BE CAREFULL PLEASE. These unscrupolous people are ruining it for the decent people here in Hua Hin.

Advice stick to the established Estate Agents and not the new flyby nights.

GREEDY GITS THE LOT OF THEM.

I have had to edit your post as we do not wish to be dragged into a situation by publishing comments like this.

It has happened before.

Any concerned property buyers can feel free to PM myself or you for further details.

Another big generalization. Like in all walks of like there are good/bad - professional and unprofessional. Lets not scare people who want to move to Hua Hin, that does no one any good. Giving constructive advice on how to avoid making mistakes with any property purchases is the way forward.

Just an observation , why should it be a concern for you ?
are you in the trade? if so then this may just be a oppertunity to blacken the opposition
if you are not in the trade how would you know they are unscrupulous?
Have you had first hand dealing with any one ?
unless you are a part of the unscrupulous set yourself ,in which case you would be one of the greedy gits as you put it, your post looked just like some more professional jelousy in town
OR
maybe you have been listening to to much gossip or making it up
Check your canopy it’s a long way down

captain..... what?????

My sentiments entirely

I have had many friends, in the past and now, in that profession and have to agree with JW on this.

What a bizarre post! Yes there are probably some agents best to avoid in HH as there will be anywhere in the world. However, there are plenty of reputable agents in HH, many who have been around for some time, and who have earned their good name.

Well he is just watching out to not get ripped off.
I'm looking into buying a house and take everything i hear lightly as i know when it comes to money a lot of the people here will say pretty much anything if they think you'll believe it and dump the cash in there pockets.
I think it's cause there seems to be an extra strong desire here to make money by any means. To spend on toys, doodads and up the status level to past people even if it is half facade.
It's more a headfcuk for them to be like that than for me dealing with them just to watch out for getting burned.

I agree with the second post about sticking with old timer estate agents as easier to hear about oher peoples experience and they may have a name to keep up.
I'm in no hurry here anyway and there is no point in being in a hurry.
I'm sure most people would agree that making good money honestly feels a hell of a lot better than making it by being underhand.
You can see in some of their faces the way they go about things has bitten them in the ass.

The majority of estate agent / property sales outlets are on the same rate of commission %, how they deal with the customer is down to their own style and standards of professionalism there is no reason to say they are greedy gits , rip off merchants ,con men /women
Their job is to sell which is what they do, the customers should do research of their own also and not just take the word of the sales man, not because he is a con man, Thai government change the rules whenever and to what ever they want regarding foreigners buying property in Thailand as do the sellers decide to add additions on for signinmg contracts at the last minute . Sometimes even the agent’s cant keep up with the laws or the sellers , a good tip is to hire your own reputable lawyer which will cost money but give you peace of mind and not use the agent’s lawyers just the same as you would in your home country .Those who do have a problem or grievance with a purchase should contact a independent lawyer and make the relevant complaints and procedures to the courts the Thai legal system does work (we are not talking about the local police) and not just in favor of the Thai population

There was a fight recently involving the hired thugs of I believe one of the Estate Agents that the post is about.

Doe's Hua Hin really need these type's.

Hua Hin is for family's not the sex tourist and certainly not these type's.
