HELP HELP HELP!

We are a swiss couple who made and paid, last year, a reservation for a house in Kao Takiab, but the house got sold and we just heard about it now!

So.. we are looking for a similar house, in Hua Hin or Kao Takiab, as near as possible of the sea..
3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, garden, pool (not necessary if very near the sea )

Our friends and family are coming to visit us, expecting a nice place...
Right now, we are loosing face as you say in Thailand..

Out of interest did you pay the whole 3 months rent on the place in Khao Takiab or just a deposit? Will you be getting anything back?
