Burger, the housebreakers of HH would like to thank you for the tips of getting into peoples houses, it has made things a lot easier now thay know how to get in.
Safety
I think the roof tile route is a tried and trusted method that burglars are well versed in - I know of at least one neighbour who has been burgled in this way - so Burger is not giving out any new tips there! As for the screws on the security grilles, judging from my experience of builders who are actually meant to turn up on site with tools but don't, it is unlikely that a burglar would have the foresight to turn up with a screw driver or drill, even if he had been thinking of unscrewing the security grilles! I think most burglaries in HH are opportunistic.

Concerning thieves carrying screwdrivers or phillips...put super glue into the head slots if concerned. They'll give up. If you need to remove later, heat the head of your driver (handtools gents, not golf or anatomy) and it will melt the SG and you can remove easily. Pete.
Heeps unsafe place, whatever you do dont ride a moto, that is unless of course it is a vespa cause that will make you bulletproof, never leave your wallet out of site, specially if you end up with a bg for the evening, oh and watch out for the flower girls and there accosiated mafia cause they will fleece you.
