Roof leaks on a tile roof with metal roof trusses can be a real can of worms. A contractor may come out and ID some gaps, readjust and seal an area, then not too long afterwards as the sun heats the roof the trusses expand and contract again opening up yet more small gaps in the tile alignment. Of course you may not realize you have a problem for months until a heavy rain hits.

The only thing I've found to fix it permanently (or for at least 10-15 years) is the foam insulation spray that hardens and is applied to the underside of the roof in the attic area. It's expensive though, but also acts as a theft deterrent as you can't remove the tiles without the use of a sledge hammer or explosives.

Hopefully someone will have other ideas that aren't so expensive, and of course the name of a contractor for you who can do a realignment/seal to address your immediate problem. Pete

I see no one has replied yet. Looking back at forum history there is reference to "Hua Hin Handyman" which you can find with a Google search. There are other possibilities when Google searching for "Hua Hin home repairs".

Many times a good source is simply talking to neighbors if you're in a development. If your roof leaks, so does theirs. Pete

We had Spray foam installed under our roof tiles and it works. No leaks, keeps heat out of attic and no insulation needed in ceiling. Yes, not cheap but well worth it in long run. Try Marc Goedvolk (who lived in Hua Hin when he did our job) at marc@sprayfoamthailand.com I still see ad every once in a while for his company in Bangkok Post.

There is another company over in Pattaya that does the same thing if you have any trouble locating Marc.

Here's the one who has offices in Chonburi and Isan, but they do work all over the country.

Company in Pattaya does not do sprayfoam all over Thailand. I contacted lohr-trade.com and they would not come to south of Thailand. Should be able to get to Hua Hin but not much farther south.
