Artificial Grass

Post by Dannie Boy »

This subject was discussed a few years ago but I couldn't find a recent thread so was wondering whether anybody has had artificial grass put down in the last year or so, and if so, can you provide details of supplier, prices etc? Thanks.

If that fails, you could contact Colin at X-Plode Arena on Soi 10.

The Bowling Green is at Seajays Resort - not been there for quite a while, but it was run by a guy named Chris from the UK.

I saw some of that for sale in rolls at Costco a few days ago and I must say it's come a long way since I last saw any. I looked at it closely and felt it and it really comes close to the look and feel of real grass now.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

They do stock it in Homepro, in various qualities or at least various lengths of the grass, and they have an offer on it at the moment, but don't know whether it's good enough for your requirements but probably the same as Costco.

I think I saw it at the new DIY Hypermarket in Pranburi (don't remember name, but just before Tesco lights) as well.

I went to the Shova Indian Restaurant last night and they have a strip about 13x2 metres and the owner has offered to contact the supplier and put me in touch with them and I am hoping to contact Colin at the football pitches by Soi 10. As its nearby, I will also call into That Watsadu to see what they have on offer. Thanks to all for your suggestions and help. Cheers

Hi DB a couple of things to consider if kids intend to play on it you will need to give it a little spray of water as it does become quite hot under foot.
When trying to source artificial grass try and find one with brown flecks in it, it looks more realistic and natural some artificial grass looks too green. Rule of thumb the heavier the latex backing the better quality the product is.

I've just put some down on my garden refurbishment and also have it on my balconies I'm also going to put it over the top of my old decking that needs attention.
