Learn Thai in Perth

Post by Marky_Mark »

I have just had my 3rd lesson in speaking thai.
If any fellow west aussies would like to learn thai please let me know and i will PM my teachers details.

$20.00 per hour however lessons are conducted in 2 hour blocks so $40.00 per lesson... one on one.

I must admit i have found a new confidence in a language i never thought i would be able to speak.

Cheers

You are in for a rough ride Mark but it will be worth it.
Once you have mastered a certain level of the language you will discover yet another Thailand!
Don't know if you are familiar with the sites here under. They are mentioned on HHAD every now and then. Very useful stuff in there. And its free too.

Hi Roel
Thanks for that i will have a look through them....i just wanted to fast track it since the good lady is due here 2 weeks tuesday, I know the basics but wanted to enhance my thai with pronounciation which is the reason i opted for private one on one, feel as if i am already benefiting from it...
anyways off to have coffee with thai friends for more practice...
thanks again for the heads up

Hi you're right actually, that website is very useful but it's not easy to understand by learning that way. I am learning Thai with my lovely Thai teacher. I don't mind driving up to Cha-am to take a lesson for 1.30 hours because I enjoy it and I found it very fun. You guys can come to join us at Insight English school. you can call them for direction.

I know this thread might be very old, but I am in Perth and would like to get some private lessons as I work in the mines and only home for two weeks at a time, if you still have that teachers number that would be great!
