Thanks, BG. The odd thing is, her entire family and all her friends seem to stretch out the 'oo' sound as though her name was spelled with the long 'u' vowel. No wonder no one can spell her name! :laugh:

That's probably because of the rising tone.

Possibly borrowed from English also. Using your pronunciation guide tink of how the Thai's say 'snow'. :D
If it's within arms reach, there's nothing to worry about!!
