Elucidation

Post by Farang »

'
While I consider it rude to reply to a question with a question, I’ll elucidate:

The idiom concerned is upper-lower-middleclass high society low-life guttersnipe touristy MexiSpanglish
from the lower upper central Andalucia with elements of Andulician, Catalan, Sanish and South American
thrown in. There might even be some Amish and Apish in there, I dunno.
None of my relatives speak any pagan tongues.

It is easily mastered by any person on their first or second visit to Andalucia.

The translation is not:

“Hey man (hombre) you are talking bollocks. Perhaps you can clarifyâ€

No, no, no, no, Buks. Let me elucidate.

The topic was "Proofing before publishing". Just look at some of the proofing on published postings.

Right on the topic, innit?

The elusive r's.

Well, well, well. The great thinker Huevoncio (Bollocks) Bloggs?

In front of that caliber of Gran Autoridad I must kow-tow. And, having lived in Spain, Mexico and various
spots in South America, I'll readily admit that the Spanish señorita does have a lovely Spanish r's.

Yes expecially when they are on the beach wearing only a length of dental floss in place of a Bikini.

Rolling your R's

Post by PeteB »

Hi again Guess

Hope that you didn't mis-read my post.

I was not having a go at you for being 'off topic'.

Rather, I was pointing out the irony in your post - on a thread entitled "Proofing before publishing" .

Pease re-read
..........who has lived in a Sanish (American) society for the last twenty years, or my neice who was born i South America nd has Spanish as her firsT language or to my sister who hails from Andulcia but speaks fluent Catalan and South American .
