I have occasionally seen Thai personal names preceded with the letters M.L. or M.R. and wondered what they meant.
If anyone is interested WIKIPEDIA.ORG have a good explanation. Having less than the required number of posts I can't list the URL but go to google & type in 'Thai Titles' and the Wikipedia site should be at the top.
