All of those drugs are available free of charge on the NHS to Diabetics. The added advantage of that scheme is the GP will make sure you're fit enough to use them.

That remains to be seen and what facts are out of context? Is this quibbling over the exact mechanism of action so important?

The results of an initial search may not produce 'qualified facts' but I wasn't to know that until you challenged the statement. So yes, I 'assumed' the information presented was accurate, especially when so many results support the statement. This example is typical...
http://awccanadianpharmacy.com/item/viagra.html

'Viagra is a phosphodiesterase inhibitor. It works by helping the blood flow into the penis to achieve and maintain an erection'.

This 'Mechanism of Action' of Sildenafil in the Merck Manual also seems to lend support to the statement. http://www.merck.com/mmpe/lexicomp/sildenafil.html

Erectile dysfunction: Does not directly cause penile erections, but affects the response to sexual stimulation. The physiologic mechanism of erection of the penis involves release of nitric oxide (NO) in the corpus cavernosum during sexual stimulation. NO then activates the enzyme guanylate cyclase, which results in increased levels of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP), producing smooth muscle relaxation and inflow of blood to the corpus cavernosum. Sildenafil enhances the effect of NO by inhibiting phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE-5), which is responsible for degradation of cGMP in the corpus cavernosum; when sexual stimulation causes local release of NO, inhibition of PDE-5 by sildenafil causes increased levels of cGMP in the corpus cavernosum, resulting in smooth muscle relaxation and inflow of blood to the corpus cavernosum; at recommended doses, it has no effect in the absence of sexual stimulation.

This section suggests a systemic vasodilation action...

Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH): Inhibits phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE-5) in smooth muscle of pulmonary vasculature where PDE-5 is responsible for the degradation of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP). Increased cGMP concentration results in pulmonary vasculature relaxation; vasodilation in the pulmonary bed and the systemic circulation (to a lesser degree) may occur.

I read this to be a muscle-relaxing effect + vasodilation improving blood supply INTO the penis, whatever the exact mechanism involved in maintaining blood within the penis, once it's in there.

If this is wrong, please explain how.

Does anyone know if Boots pharmacy or Watsons pharmacy has Kamagra for sale in their stores? or anywhere else i might be able to buy Kamagra?
I don't think Boots or Watsons would, isn't it illegal here to buy over the counter??

Many pharmacies in Hua Hin and Bangkok sell Kamagra Gel (and presumably the tablets!?) over the counter usually for 100 Baht, particularly the one's located near bar areas. The pharmacy on Petchakasem Road at top of Soi 80, a couple in Dechanuchit Road near Neabkhart junction, the one next to 7-11 in Bintabaht, if that's still a pharmacy??

Yeah I have heard that it's illegal to sell Kamagra over the counter in Thailand, but i'm not sure why it's illegal to sell over the counter. :?

I have seen Viagra for sale in Boots pharmacy or maybe it was Watsons pharmacy, but it costs about 2000 baht for only 4 tablets and that is just too expensive imo.

I have a load of friends that swear by the gel form. The tablets give you chest pains but the gel acts fast and has no side effects to their experience. You only need a third of the packet for it to start working. Yes, I have tried it and can confirm all the positive things I have been told about it, it starts to work after about 15 minutes. I have a friend who has just asked me to buy a box of it for him as it's a lot cheaper. The pharmacy across from the coffee shop down from the Hilton sells it as well, 100THB a packet. It also works if you have had far too much beer for your little friends own good.

Shouldn't this be in the Night Crawlers section as apart from erictile dysunction, which I doubt none of guys actually have, all it is is a stimulant to make old guys horny. Kind of a like Crack for the elderly if you will.

Rat poison as an aphrodisiac? There are safer choices. Why even consider this?

I take warfarin so I can reduce the coagulability off my blood, my blood does not flow as it should. I hope it gets better in the near future.
Therefore, I am a bit curious about how it works .... but it is perhaps just as well I question my doctor. Though it is clearly easier to ask on the forum if someone tested it
