Acupuncture

Post by Phil D »

I have injured my shoulder. My Son in law who is a soft tissue therapist advises that I should try acupuncture. Unfortunately he lives in Australia so treatment from him or his associates is not possible. Has anyone had successful acupuncture in Hua Hin. If so with whom, where and approx costs?

Not Hua Hin, but I know Petcharat Hospital in Petchaburi do acupuncture - I think 500 Baht/session.

I've also seen a department of alternative medicine at Hua Hin Hospital, where I suspect they could help you.

I am a fan of Acupuncture in general. I have not needed any for a while (I have a very temperamental lower back) but it would be top of my list if I have another relapse. I have not had any in Hua Hin so cannot recommend anyone here, my last treatment was a couple of years ago in UK where I had found a brilliant chap.
Some previous treatment in Cyprus was a real dissappointment and didn't work. I changed the practitioner and and all was good again.

I had not noticed that Hua Hin Hospital had it as one of their facilities but good to know, thank you. I had noticed that Bangkok Hospital have it advertised on their display boards which I have kept in mind just in case............

Good luck with it wherever you find it. Come back and let us know how you get on with it.

I've had acupuncture sessions twice (for different injuries) at the Cha Am hospital. Can't praise the doctor or medical staff highly enough and would definitely recommend it - cost is 300 baht a session.

Hi!

I frequent acupuncture at Hua HIn hospital. The doctor is a young girl named Ms.Noi. I am quite satisfied with her treatment as a doctor and she is a kind person. 250 baht per session (20 min). I recommend you to ask her to add current durinf the treatment. If they at HH hospital did chiropractic that would be the best treatment for my backbone.

Anybody knows chiropractor in HH?
