Is there a clinic in Hua Hin that deals with treatment of sexually transmitted diseases? Alternatively does anyone have useful experience of what the hospitals in town can provide in this regard and an indication of cost?

Hua Hin hospital is great. the clinics around town are expense and slow, have weird hours, are never open and many are dirty.
Just go to the "foreign people" desk on the ground floor lobby. Don't forget your passport.
They will give you a "menu" of every type of test with costs just like a restaurant.
i'm thinking it was less that 800 baht for all types of STD's including AIDS test, meds included.
A nice nurse escorts you everywhere, no waiting in lines.
Blood test results in two hours with consolation with doctor. Pharmacy in lobby with checkout.
so go in the morning, then go away for two hours and get your results.
but the doctors will ask your symptoms and just give you antibiotics if it is something simple like chlamydia.
or if you know what you have just go to any pharmacy and tell them you have chlamydia.
200 baht later you are out the door.

Thanks folks for the replies I will have a look at HH hospital (close to home) and see where that takes me, otherwise I will try San Paulo.
