Although the answer to both questions are legally "no" and despite all the news online about fines and jail time if you are caught with an e cigarette in the public, the real answer is kinda yes. I have been in and out of BKK twice in the last 3 months with my vaping equipments and no problem so far. It is "allowed" to bring in for personal use and as long as you are vaping in private is ok. As for buying e-juice and equipments - I have seen them in MV 3rd floor but the selection is limited and there is an "underground" selling network here in HH and BKK. So the bottom line is - bring a small amount of supplies and beware of the risk.

Thank you HH, I will advise him and ultimately he can make his choice.

The real question should be; "should you be using those things at all". Please read the following article and view the photos before proceeding. You should also search for exploding e-cigarettes as I've read about others so this is apparently not an isolated incident...

My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

HH, I will show him this thanks. He is big enough and ugly enough to make his own decisions. I do salute him for his efforts to date, almost three months of no real cigarettes, where previously he was smoking 10 - 12 twenty packs a week.
Financially that's £120 per week, crazy!
