Is Endone 'banned' medication?

Post by MLS »

Hi, I've got a friend coming to Thailand who will need to bring his prescribed Endone tablets with him (for severe knee pain). He'll have a doctor's letter, but we're wondering if his stash could still present a problem at customs should he get searched (they're opiate based). Does anyone know what I should advise him? Thanks.

Hi, I don't think so I have bought it over the counter in Phuket, you can also get Lyrica over the counter. The only thing I have had a problem purchasing for pain was paracetamol and codeine. Cheers Pinzel

Sorry didn't read the full message, you should have no problem if you have the script with you, or details usually printed on the box but if you run out you should be able to buy them. Pinzel
