Champions League Final
Can't wait for it. Although very lucky last night, Arsenal are in the final for the first time in their history. Last night's match was very frustrating, though. I polished off 6 cans of Cheers and two quite large glasses of brandy while watching the match. Are there any other Gunners supporters around on the 17th?

Simply put, the foreigners are better players.Kraka's Dad wrote:Unfortunatley this is the way the Premier League has gone. With so many foreigners in the teams will homegrown players a chance to develop to their full potential ??
I watched a few games of the lower-rung Premiership teams (not the big 5 teams) and all they did was kick the bloody ball back and forth 40 yards in the air.
Reminded me of Canadian hockey where the core skills are gone, just dump it in and chase it.
champions league
If you stroll down Poolsuk road past a hotel that I should not mention you will see a yamaha nouvo now painted red and emblazoned with the arsenal insignia. The owner, an avid Arsenal supporter assures me that a champions league party is being held in that hotel bar with the tv set tuned hopefully to the match on the 17th. For sure I will be there. European Finals
I agree with the last post, good luck to the Gooners and to Boro, and watch out Europe......the mighty Hammers will be on the march next season in the Eufa cup regardless of the result against Liverpool in THE cup final next month.

Must admit, Boro needed two miracles to reach the final and they happened. All the best luck for them as well.

Thank you hamsters. I've sent a personal sms to the hammers' supporters that I know. Surprisingly, today you made it possible for us to finish 4th in the premierleague (sort of) and now it's going to be more relaxed for us to play on the 17th. It should be a great game, no matter who wins.

My prediction for the last three outstanding positions in Europe (natioanl cups excluded) is AC Milan for Serie A, Sevilla for the little Euro Cup and Barcelona for the big one. As I have been consistently wrong for the last three weeks let's up all hope that I am wrong about those three as well.
Barkalona and AC DC Milan are about as endearing to me as Milwall.
