Danish reality show invades Hua Hin

Post by buksida » Thu May 10, 2012 6:06 pm

The Danish reality show, Tempted (Fristet) is shooting the second season of the show in Hua Hin. The production team will consist of up to 100 people, who are coming to Hua Hin at the end of May and staying for two months.

The first season of Tempted took place in Turkey, but this year the team behind the production chose to take the production even further away from Denmark.

“We want to be close to Bangkok, as many of the activities are to take place there. Hua Hin is just perfect for us. It is a destination with very little rain, and we found a perfect luxury house for the participants, a secluded house, where we are sure not to disturb any neighbors,” says Stine Stahr, Producer at Nordisk Film TV in Denmark.

In Tempted the participants will face huge dilemmas, and in the second season the dilemmas will be even tougher than the ones the first season had to offer.

“It’s going to be less of a party for the participants who can expect tough dilemmas. It is not going to be nice for the people in the house, we are going to make sure that the they will be Tempted big time,” says Stine Stahr.

Stine Stahr does not wish to reveal specifics on the dilemmas the participants will face, but she does give a little hint.

“We chose to use Bangkok as it is a city with many dimensions. You will find rich and poor, beautiful scenery and the opposite. It is in many ways a two-dimensional city, and we are going to use that in the show,” says Stine Stahr.

Tempted will air in Denmark in the fall of 2012, still with Adam Duvaa Hall as the host tempting the participants.

How many ways are there to be two-dimensional?

Sorry to disappoint you but Danes do not have vodka for breakfast (except perhaps a few drunks who will drink anything). Those you might have seen in Denmark were probably visitors from Finland or Sweden!

Had Danish friends in the UK who had snapps, coffee, bacon sarnies and some roll mops for breakfast before we set sail up the M3 for work. He was not a drunk. A chief buyer for Tescos

@ Richard: Even a chief buyer for Tesco may have an alcohol problem.
PM me his name and address and I shall refer him to AA for treatment.. ...
So it was not vodka. Now you say snaps. Are you sure it was not apple or orange juice? Certainly not normal for Danes. You may mistake the snaps for a bitter like Gammel Dansk - a brownish alcoholic digestive that at one point enjoyed some popularity. Still, I'd say anybody that starts breakfast with alcohol has a problem and this is not the normal Danish way. Sunday Brunch, from 10 am - 2 pm, however, is a different story. A bloody mary or two is considered to be OK to repair Saturday night's frolics. Presumably the tomato juice content has some healthy vitamins.......

Hmmm... I reckon any buyer for Tesco NEEDS to have an alcohol problem!

Production team will be staying in Dolphin Bay in an attempt to have them tucked up in bed early I think.
