Swedish restaurant or bar

Post by Felipesed1 » Sat Nov 11, 2017 1:05 pm

A Swedish friend is visiting Huahin, and I would like to know if there are any Swedish restaurants or bars around?
Make him feel at home when he tires of Thai food!
Thanks.

Scandinavian Kitchen in the Soi between 94 and 88. Swea in Soi 51. Tores Bar "top" of Soi 94. Moonshine Bar just before the railroad in Soi 94 (Swedish owner but not alwyas there). "W&N bar (very small bar opposite X-it restaurant and Mekhong restaurant in Soi 94. And probably many more in the town center???

Thanks. Will try Soi 94 first. Seems to where most of them are.

Some Swedish and Norwegian friends used to take us to a Swedish restaurant in Poonsuk Road (I think) just behind the temple. The food was very good and the prices reasonable. Called the Sweden Restaurant, if I remember correctly.

Yes you're right I had forgotten that one. Must be one of the Swedish restaurants which has been in Hua Hin the longest time. And you're absolutely correct, the name is "Sweden Restaurant" and location is Poonsuk Road.
