I may be drunk, Miss, but in the morning I shall be sober and you will still be ugly...

We just spent a few nights at a bar that must have been TNT, next to Cheap Charly. A real cutie behind the bar, good drinks (Gin Tonic, frozen Margarita) and you can order great - really great - food from a shop called Koy ? or so next to Cheap Charly.
We also had a few drinks at Moonlight but that soi is a little quiet and thus not as entertaining for people watching.

I know TNT Bar that's my mate Colin he's been there nearly two years now and still enjoying it. I think he has the best toilets in Hua Hin and the best roast if you ask him nicely.
Say hello to him from his mate Wayne in England if any of you locals see him, Noot or bay April.

For those who want to sit in an expat bar away from the crowded downtown scene, have a few beers, and flap your jaws with other expats, the famous (or infamous ) Barry Niles is back in town and opened up a new place two days ago. Many Hua Hin old timers will know Barry from J&B Guesthouse which he ran on Nebkahard road for several years around 2003 to 2005. The bottom floor of that one was a popular expat bar where I met Lomuamart and some other forum members.
Barry sold out a few years back and left Thailand for a while. He came back and ran the Friday Family Bar in Satukarn Square until the place was demolished for the new construction, then he opened a bar out on Pala U road in a row of shop houses across from La Valee development. After almost a year he sold out and went on walkabout again for a while and now he is back and has opened a new bar called "P and B" three doors down from that last one in the same row of shop houses.
I was there yesterday in the afternoon and met several other expats and as all of Barry's places have been, it's a great place for a beer, a burger, and a chat. His last place was also a good place for book swapping (he had hundreds) and though his stock is low at the moment because he just opened, he is collecting books to swap as well.
The bar is open all day and he serves up a good American style breakfast (anytime) too!

My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?
