Has anybody tried 55th Corner/Stonehead Tavern?
Once; imo the most expensive place in Hua Hin. I think the live music bar in the Hilton is cheaper. If I remember correctly a small Singha was 120 baht.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

On my most recent visit Thaiwaii was a real success with my family. Rich, the amercian owner is a proper bar owner, genuinely hospitable. Within 5 minutes of arriving he came over to say hello and introduced several of his other regular customers. i really like the way he has set up the bar - great fit out and a really nice atmosphere. Music is excellent, darts, pool and wii golf which the kids loved. The bar seems to have a reputation for its pizza but we did not try that. Cant remember much about the prices. its the sort of place you drop in for a quick drink and emerge several hours later because its just so pleasant to hang out there.

totally agree with the Thaiwaii assessment above. Was one of the few places that I truly looked forward to visiting once I came back to Hua Hin

That's sad to hear. Wasn't aware of it. Does anyone know if it has changed hands?

Not yet I don't think, or at least Rich and his missus are still in there running it.
