what do you think about the future of soi 80??
in the last couple of years i noticed that more and more bars opened up... last month there used to be like 20 bars!
is it already a sign of the bars moving out of soi Bin Thabat?!
as a house owner i am thinking about either opening up a bar or selling the house ... :)
cheers!
Soi 80 has certainly grown a lot since the early days when only Linda was there, and it links nicely with the bars and restaurants alongside the railway. Next logical step to me would be the development of Soi 78, although most of the properties would need re-building.
If the landowners of Bintabahn want people out they have only to increase rents on lease renewal substantially. 3 years and most bars would be out of there. I don't want to see it happen either but TIT.

That could possibly take a hit on the economy because of the popular night life

I think soi 80 is a non starter - too small, residential on one side and access difficult
