But I'm also not exactly sure what you're saying about Feb 14th; are you expecting bars to be closed on that date?

Might be worth looking at the following link, it contains info on bar closures (expected), the point being that Valentine days 2014 is the same day as Magha Puja (Makha Bucha) day and is a mandatory bar closure, not a good thing for all the romantics or the bar owners.
