Last night at the night market i asked a thai guy if he would be serving beer on saturday, he replied, I mafia we open.
Anyone know where i could watch the England v France rugby game on saturday night, other than my laptop?

All the bars down Soi 80 got the same police-message as Bintabaat bar-owners..closed ALL day/night on Sat, re-open Sun evening 6pm..but of course Soi 80's bar-owners went & opened on Sat aft as usual..the whole set-up along this road seems to be above the law..with hardened Mamasans doing as they please.
The police DID close them all down around 4.00pm, but did they get fined I wonder..??
(the standard fine to bar-owners in Binta for this offence is 20,000B).

Sour grapes?..to damn right it is!
